![]() I used to own a Hauppage USB TV tuner card, but I gave that to my brother. The other tuner cards were a bit pricey at around $80, and the cheap cards (namely KWorld) had terrible reviews. Now I had been looking into getting a PC tuner card that was capable of receiving digital signals so that it wouldn’t go obsolete in early 2009. It was a Launch Woot, so it was discounted at $49.99. 6, 2008 it does not.Ībout a month ago I received my Pinnacle PCTV HD card that I had purchased from. There is a post about similar drivers being developed here: so hopefully this product will work in Linux soon, but as of Jan. ![]() Unfortunately, I have tried to set up MythTV under Ubuntu 7.10 and none of the drivers included work. ![]() EDIT: I notice a lot of users are searching for Linux and this TV tuner card when coming to this blog post.
